calamari




ACROPOLIS (this written while enjoying the momentary douse of sunlight)

'On top of Acropolis. Legs over the edge, making mothers all over the world nervous. It's gorgeous enough to geel spiritual. It's touristed enough to feel tacky. But the majesty and the breezy songbirds and the uneven surfaces keep the rest at bay. First day of spring. Misty morning, heady afternoon. Gorgeous. Roasted corn on the cob. Yep. Best day ever.'




Then a languid afternoon at the Acropolis Museum.


Pre sightseeing, I got lost and wound up in the depths of the

Monastiraki Flea Market

Walked into town. Costa coffee, tea break. Did a little research and wound up here:
